Admission Procedure

At Universal Academy, we believe in a transparent and student-friendly admission process that helps families make informed decisions while ensuring the right academic fit for every learner. Our admission is open to all students who demonstrate the potential to grow, lead, and contribute positively to our school community.

1. Admission Openings

Admissions are open for the following levels:

  • Playgroup to Grade 9
  • +2 Science and Management (with Computer Science)

We follow the curriculum and guidelines set by the Government of Nepal.

2. Application Process

Step 1: Inquiry & School Visit
Parents or guardians are encouraged to visit the school office to learn more about the facilities, environment, and curriculum. A guided tour and counseling session can be arranged upon request.

Step 2: Registration Form
Collect the admission form from the school reception or download it from our website (if available). Fill in the required details and submit the form along with the necessary documents.

Documents Required:

  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Latest Progress Report / Marksheet
  • Transfer Certificate (for students coming from another school)
  • Passport-sized Photos (2 copies)
  • Parent/Guardian Citizenship Copy (for verification)

Step 3: Entrance Assessment
An entrance test is conducted for admission to Grade 1 and above. The test assesses basic knowledge in English, Mathematics, and General Awareness. For +2 admission, students are evaluated based on SEE results and a short interview.

Step 4: Interview
Shortlisted students and their parents/guardians will be invited for an interaction with the academic team or principal to better understand the student’s needs and expectations.

Step 5: Admission Confirmation
Once selected, parents will be notified and must complete the admission by paying the required fees and submitting the final documents. An official admission confirmation letter will be issued thereafter.

3. Scholarships & Discounts

Universal Academy offers merit-based scholarships and special discounts for:

  • SEE GPA Achievers
  • Siblings enrolled at the school
  • Underprivileged or marginalized communities (as per criteria)

4. Important Dates

Admission usually begins from Chaitra/Baisakh every academic year. However, parents are advised to inquire early due to limited seats in high-demand grades.
